Counselors
Dear Students and Parents,
Hello and welcome! We look forward to seeing all of you and supporting you as you begin your journey through 7th and 8th grade.
As your counselors, our goal is to support you and answer your questions, no matter how big or small. We will do our best to encourage your academic, personal/social, and career development as you prepare for high school, college, and beyond. Ms. Moore (the 7th grade counselor) and Ms. Kim (the 8th grade counselor) both conduct individual and group counseling sessions, classroom guidance lessons, and parent night presentations.
We wish you a wonderful school year!
How to Reach Your Counselor
Counselors are available to students and parents during regular school hours. For general questions or to make an appointment to speak with your counselor, you may submit a counseling request form (found in the front office), email us, call by phone, or students may drop by the front office as needed to see a counselor immediately or request the soonest appointment. The crisis hotlines on this web page are also still active during this time.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Though conversations with a counselor are confidential, there may be limitations with online or phone counseling. Counselors are mandated reporters and will notify the appropriate party when there is a suspicion of child abuse or neglect, or if there is a safety concern for the student or others.
Wellness Room
This is a place where counselors offer guided lessons on stress management and other mental health issues. Students may also use this as a calming space during lunch or flex time with counselors supervising. 2022-2023 Photos
